SF YouthWorks provides paid job readiness workshops, training, and internships at different SF City Departments such as the Public Utilities Commission, the Public Library, and the SF International Airport.
We also offer youth leadership opportunities!

SFYW provides professional training to equip participants with the skills needed to enter the workforce
Interns are paid a wage of $18.93/hr
Interns are paired with city department employee mentor
Interns experience career exploration through events, go on college campus tours, and engage in their communities through service.
Interns are given opportunities to grow their leadership skills through our Youth Leadership Team (YLT) program!
SFYW participants receive support with transition and future aspiration planning

11th - 12th graders are invited to apply
Must reside or attend school in SF. Need help with obtaining your work permit? We got you!
Leadership qualities and an interest in supporting SFYW with basic program functions
Youth Leadership Team (YLT) members are former YouthWorks interns who return for a second year to help plan and facilitate workshops for current interns.
YLT members also assist with general YouthWorks programming while working on leadership development.
